FRANGIPANE TART

Simple frangipane tart for anyone with a sweet tooth who wants a simple yet delicious tart!


Approx 2-3 medium sized tarts

Frangipane filling

Butter 500g

Sugar 500g

Egg 500g

Almond powder white 500g

Flour 250g

Baking powder 10g


Mix butter and sugar soft with a paddle. Add eggs slowly while mixing. Add almond powder, flour and baking powder at the same time and mix. Do not over-mix. Fill half of the tart shell with the almond cream (frangipane) and bake until golden in colour. Approx 25-30min. Make sure to use a tray under if the tart shell is pre-baked. Its possible to add berries frozen or fresh also before baking.


Top off with any Chantilly, cremeaux or whipped cream. Add berries or some crumble! Good luck!
