RUSTIC APPLEPIE DELUXE

I love pies and tarts, as you might have realised. So I made this one with an almond filling!





Piedough

Butter roomtemp. 120g

White flour 180g = 3dl

Icing sugar 60g = 1dl

Eggyolk 20g = 1pc


Quickly need all the ingredients to a dough an leave in fridge while making the rest.


Almondfilling (Mazarinfyllning)

Sugarfree almondpaste (mandelmassa) 190g

Cardamom 2g

Butter 80g

Egg 50g = 1pc

Eggyolk 50g (3pc)


Mix all smooth.


Applefilling

Apples 4pc (sliced for a rose or cubes)

Cardamom 2 pinches

Cinnamon 8 pinches

Honey liquid 40g

Sugar 40g


Mix carefully.


Crumble OPTIONAL(Bake separate and add or place over pie before baking)

Sugar 50g

White flour 90g

Oats 50g

Butter roomtemp. 80g


Kneed together.


Assemble

Dough: Pinch out or roll out to 3mm and place in a pieform. Spread almondfilling in the bottom and place apples over. Add crumble if you want or bake on the side to have as a crunchy side!
